Foodies, friends, and newcomers - take a seat! We are so happy to have you joining us again for another Dinner at the Grocer event, this time featuring a warm, colorful, and spicy collaboration with Indian Chef and friend, Rachel Gurjar!
We will be hosting this one-of-a-kind dinner experience the evening of Monday, March 28th right here at Edy’s Grocer in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. There will be two seatings for the dinner, the first at 5:30 and the second at 8:00PM. Please note that tickets are priced per person; one ticket is one seat at the table!
The centerpiece of this dinner will be the unique family-style dinner inspired by Rachel’s most-loved authentic Indian flavors, and Edy’s Middle Eastern cooking that we enjoy from his Lebanese kitchen at Edy’s Grocer. We curated this menu to highlight our two beautiful cultures and identities and can’t wait to share this with you all under the warmth of the Grocer candlelight and the company of one another! We are also excited to announce our featured guest sommelier, Cortney McKenzie, who will be joining us to ensure Lebanese wine-filled glasses throughout the evening.
Highlights from the menu include a variety of tasty Indian snacks and Edy’s mezze to start, a Kokum margarita, baharat chicken curry, fresh Lebanese za’atar-brushed na’an, coconut turmeric branzino, and a succulent rosewater posset for dessert.
To keep spreading the love in our community and to honor International Women’s Month, we will be donating a portion of the dinner’s proceeds to Snehalaya, a beautiful non-profit organization that supports the women, children, and LGBTQIA+ communities affected by poverty in India.
