Charred Green Cabbage with Labneh and Harissa

Charred Green Cabbage with Labneh and Harissa

Cabbage is one of those fall vegetables that I’m super excited about grilling. I think not many people grill their cabbage, and this simple recipe is one of my favorite ways to enjoy the cabbage.

After the cabbage gets charred, it still holds up the shape while you see layers of gorgeously charred cabbage leaves. Also, pairing this with labneh and harissa adds extra flavors. Just like sour cream and hot sauce, this flavor pairing is just iconic. Using a fork and knife to eat a grilled vegetable? That’s my fall mood.

Total Time: 20 minutes
Makes: 6 servings

  • 1 medium- to large-sized green cabbage

  • 1 tbsp of EVOO

  • 1/4 cup labneh

  4. Spread labneh on a plate with dots of harissa with cooked cabbage on a serving plate.
